Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Hotel Ads Global LLC ("EarnedFrom") collects through earnedfrom.com, and for what purposes it is processed.

1. Data We Collect

EarnedFrom processes two categories of data:

• Account owner data: the email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text) and subscription information of business owners who register with EarnedFrom.
• Visitor data: collected through the tracking snippet that account owners add to their own websites — the page URL, referrer, a random (pseudonymous, not anonymous) visitor identifier generated in the browser, the browser user-agent, ad click identifiers (e.g. gclid/fbclid), an approximate country/region/city derived from the IP address, the name of the network operator (ASN) the IP belongs to, and (if applicable) phone/WhatsApp click events. The IP address itself is not stored permanently; it is only used momentarily for location and network detection. The network operator is recorded because visits arriving through VPN/proxy servers would otherwise be attributed to the wrong country; it identifies a network, not a person. Network and country data is provided by DB-IP (CC BY 4.0).

2. Purpose of Processing

• Creating and providing access to your account,
• Displaying visitor/channel/revenue statistics on your dashboard,
• Operating subscription and billing processes,
• Maintaining the security of the Service and preventing misuse,
• Fulfilling our legal obligations.

3. Third Parties We Share Data With

Your data is shared with the infrastructure providers required to run the Service:

• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting,
• Vercel — application hosting and content delivery network,
• Stripe — payment processing.

Some of these providers may use servers located abroad; in that case, data transfer takes place under each provider's own data protection commitments. We never sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

Our site uses only strictly necessary/functional cookies, to remember your language preference and securely manage your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. With your consent only, we store a first-party visitor identifier in your browser (localStorage) to measure our own marketing channels. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. Data Security and Retention

Your password is stored using a one-way hash. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Access is limited to the systems required to provide the Service.

Visitor data collected through the tracking snippet is kept for 3 years on the Solo plan and 5 years on the Scale plan, so that account owners can compare channel performance over time.

6. Your Rights

Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

• Know whether your data is being processed and request information about it,
• Know the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements,
• Object to a result produced solely by automated processing,
• Seek compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
